Senior Project |
Translation of a Visual Basic program, used for calculation of magnetic fields associated with walk-through detectors, to C/C++ for maintenance reasons.
- Worked on a team of four people than planned and brought project to completion.
- Independently responsible for the C/C++ coding using Watcom and Borland C++ packages.
- Team was responsible for all parts of project management including user documentation and coordination of progress reports.

B.B. Bridge |
Creation of B.B. Bridge, a network bridge program for UNIX. This program is a network version of the popular card game Bridge. This was a one month project in which over 4000 lines of code were both written and tested.
- Responsible for all parts of program development including choice of GUI builder, language and platform.
- Employed TCP/IP sockets for client/server communication.
- Written in C/C++ using GNU GCC compiler.
- Installed and used SUIT graphic interface builder.

Main responsibilities were to assemble and service PC’s as well as to provide technical support for customers
over the phone. Other responsibilities included:
- Assembling and testing the PC’s before delivery to customer.
- Troubleshooting and repairing PC’s brought in by customers.
- Pinpointing customer service problems over the phone.
- Walking customers through the steps required to repair PC’s without need for in-shop service.

Main responsibility was upkeep of audio equipment for events and rental. Other responsibilities included set-
up of systems for customers and:
- Preparing systems using customer equipment orders and descriptions of locations.
- Maintainenance and repair of equipment after customer returns.
- Setting up systems on the Peking at the South Street Seaport for the 1991 troop return, and for the Latin Jazz Coalition for their summer performances.
