Develop smart electronic products

We provide clients with full support in the definition and development of smart electronic products. Smart usually means that the product contains one or more small computers that are used to provide some part of the product's function. These are often known as "embedded" processors. The user of the product may never know that the product contains a computer as is the case with an automobile ignition system or the computer may the be primary means of interacting with the product as is the case with a microwave oven. We do full design work from product conception to complete, ready to manufacture designs. We provide engineering services for the hardware, software and production components of the project.

Develop computer software products

We develop software products for use on general purpose computers. We provide support for user interface design, hardware requirements specification, as well as detailed project planning.

Technology assessment

NPS Associates can provide technology assessment services to clients. These services range from examining various technology options available to a client and providing a report on the different options to assessing the value of an existing technology that a client owns. We can also provide help with patents.

Provide manufacturing support

We can provide clients with "manufacturing ready" products. We will bring the designs up to the point where they can be readily manufactured by standard contract manufacturers. Further, we can supervise and oversee the manufacturing process for clients. We can contract manufacturing services for our clients as needed in the US or abroad.

Technology development

NPS will take on general technology development work for a client. In this situation we are creating new technologies rather than applying and manipulating existing technology.
